Description: Description: From the collection of long-time Disney conventioneer and Disneyana collector Charles "Chich" Lahr, an unusual find. This is an original room key from the Contemporary Resort at Walt Disney World. These keys would have been use at the hotel from 1971 to about 1990, and are instantly identifiable as the trapezoid shape of the head of the key matches the outline of the great, futuristic Modern building. This is the key to room 435. It is heavy, high-quality brass, with the WDW return postage information stamped on one side. Room 435 would have been in the original building before the wings were added. Based on my research, the original hotel was renumbered when the additions were built. Size: 3" long, 1.375" wide. Mark: Stamped on one side with the room number and "DO NOT DUPLICATE RETURN POSTAGE GUARANTEED P. O. BOX LAKE BUENTA VISTA FLORIDA 32830." Condition: Normal all-over wear from handling/use. Shipping weight is 0.5 lbs.We are always happy to combine shipping at actual cost. Please feel free to ask any questions you have about this item and please check out our other auctions/listings!
