Description: Vase - Riesenrad- Vienna’s Giant Ferris Wheel 6” china vase- cream-colored- picture of the Riesenrad, the giant Ferris Wheel in the Prater Amusement area in Vienna- it was built in 1897 in the style of the original at the Columbian Expo in 1893 with 30 cabins carrying 12 passengers each (for safety reasons, now only has 15 cabins)- over 200 feet high- it was burned during WW II but was rebuilt in 1947 and is now a featured attraction in Vienna. It was featured in an iconic scene from the classic movie "Third Man". The vase is post WWII and is in excellent condition.
