Description: Vintage Watch Street presents ... 14KT gold plated bezel Looks like titanium case & bracelet but I think it is actually matte stainless steel, perhaps parkerized stainless steel. Fits up to 7.5” snug when fully extended, or a relaxed 7.25” wrist. Original dial. All original parts. Nothing replaced. Unpolished case in nice condition. Crystal is original and clear. Just changed the battery on Oct 31st, 2024. Quickset working perfectly, triple checked by me and my watchmaker, for a total of 6 checks! If you don’t know how to operate this kind of watch and experiment alone, it can break the watch. Do NOT ADJUST THE DATE or GMT hand AT MIDNIGHT OR IT WILL BREAK THE WATCH. Do not adjust the date or GMT hand anywhere between 8pm & 4am. Make sure the Watch time is at 12:00 NOON (not when the date changes at midnight) when adjusting the date & GMT hand. To adjust gmt hand or date, pull crown out one position (click) and adjust date / GMT hand at noon, best at noon (NOT MIDNIGHT). Slowly and gently roll the crown. Do NOT speed roll the crown. Roll it towards you to change the date, and away from you to change the GMT hand position. See the video I made of this Watch to understand better and have buying confidence. Time-setting instructions: pull crown out 2 positions (clicks) and roll the crown slowly to the desired time, gently push crown back in and it will run. Please be very careful when operating. I have taken the time to carefully create a clear tutorial on how to set the day/date on a vintage Watch under the YouTube video titled “How to Set Day / Date on vivst Automatic Watches / Divers (especially Seiko), Why It Breaks & effects”. If you do not know how to operate a date function and set the time on a Watch, message me directly before experimenting, and also have a watchmaker teach you. Do not experiment alone if you are inexperienced or do not know what you are doing. If returned with a broken date function there will be a 35% restocking fee. This Watch has a small smooth crown and may be difficult to get a hold of the crown if you are not experienced with operating watches. In the video I show how to adjust the time and date and I make it look easy, but my fingers are well coordinated and I have experience with watches. If you don’t have good coordination, strong fingers and experience with watches, you may or may not need a watchmaker to help you and teach you setting the time and date. This watch was designed to be water resistant. However, I have not and would never test these features on any vintage watch and highly recommend not exposing your vintage watch to water/moisture.
