Description: Vintage 1930's Delphite Delfite, old paper label shaker. The approximate measurement is: 4.5" tallWhat amazes me about this shaker is the label is so worn you can't read what was in it, but the label is in tact and the shaker is in fantastic condition (no chips or cracks. I believe there was a spice in this shaker when you bought it in the store and the freebie was you got to keep the shaker once the spice was gone- I can see some of the original writing on the top left corner. The lid appears original to the shaker with easy on/off access. This glass has been sitting on a shelf in a climate controlled barn, but unfortunately it's not dust controlled. This will need to be washed. I'll leave that up to the new owner. These are the real deal, not that cheap knock off stuff from overseas. The knockoffs are much shorter and the necks of the shakers are different. I guarantee the authenticity of this shaker. I only deal in the old kitchenware- not the wannabe stuff. I love the way this old glass was made -when you hold it up to the light you can see the 'fire' in it. The color spectrum can't be seen in this new cheap china stuff.
