Description: Up for sale is this very rare large size three gallon pitcher attributed to Henry Remmey of Baltimore around 1830-1840. This great pitcher features a heavily decorated rim/collar with cobalt swags around and flanking the spout. The bulbous body has a reciprocating floral decoration with opposing petals and a straight stem then a bundle of petals which is repeated. This pitcher is one of a relatively few known that are attributed to early Baltimore and of the three gallon size. Even with the restoration this is a very scarce example which would make a great addition to any collection. Overall good condition with a restored or replaced handle and two areas on the rim that could have cobalt touch up. Please see all photos, no P.O. Boxes. Height is 14 3/4” Ships double boxed
