Description: This is a set of three different vintage era Space discovery books for one price. You will receive: 1.) 1970 “The Question and Answer Book of Space” by Ruth A. Sonneborn - a hardback with lots of great info and trivia facts. Only noted markings would be to back cover a bit of pencil and pen. General wear and a few pages towards the back with flipped down top of page, not dog eared but possibly bent while on shelf. 2.) 1971 “Man in Space” Science Service Science Program paperback by Nelson Doubleday Inc. Lots of info about space travel and great photos. Interesting part is this book actually has all original “stamps” inside that were meant to be applied to the pages, but they’re actually still attached to original sheet inside. No major markings like writing or damaged pages. The cover has wear and creasing. 3.) 1985 “The Space Shuttle Story” Minimedia by Luke Begarnie - Scholastic Book Fairs Edition. General cover wear no interior markings noted and no dog ear. This book in particular discusses the race to build the space shuttle. It talks about the shuttles at the time which were Columbia, Challenger, and Discovery with discussion of a new one called Atlantis. All three books are not only interesting due to age, but because we have so much going on with our space exploration right now. It’s a great way to engage the mind about how it felt during the early days of space exploration, while looking ahead to all the goals we have such as putting others on the moon or flying to Mars. Great collectibles for someone who enjoys space. Please see photos for more detail thank you! Bin: #1
