All-in-all, a very fine set of stamps which would be a wonderful addition to any quality stamp collection. The stamps look best in real life. The photos and scans both pick up and amplify the hinge marks on the back. Looking at them, you can see the hinge marks, but the marks really don't take away from the overall quality of the set, in my opinion. I have owned and enjoyed this stamp set for years.
