Description: SKU: OT 2716 Late 19thC Torchiere Floor Lamp W/Embossed Leaf Pole & Onyx Base Art Nouveau This "torchiere" floor lamp, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century, features an embossed leaf motif on a brass pole with a rotary switch and genuine onyx mounts atop an iron base. The mogul base socket has been rewired and is equipped with a removable adapter for standard base sockets. Please note, that the glass shade and the bulb are not included. Kindly be aware that due to its design and age, this lamp is somewhat delicate. It may not stand completely upright, it tends to be top-heavy, and its components may not secure tightly. After delivery, you might need to make slight twisting adjustments to the upright parts and base for optimal straightness. The total height is 60 inches, and the base has a diameter of 11 inches. Condition: The lamp is in perfect working order, retaining its antique brass patina. There is some oxidation present on the base and the socket's base.
