We recently purchased a large collection of David Eddings titles from a local bookstore that, unfortunately/sadly, is going out of business. Included in this amazing collection was entire sets of almost ALL of his books! Many of these copies were either signed and/or inscribed. We will be selling numerous David Eddings books over the next few months, NOT all of which are signed, but are all TRUE Firsts. Some are complete sets/a complete series and some of those sets are signed and/or inscribed. We will also be selling quite a few signed limited editions, Easton Press Editions, Uncorrected Proofs and some general ephemera. If there are any specific titles or sets you are interested in, let us know! This rare treasure has some VERY clearly visible wear. The wear is extensive and should be carefully examined/considered BEFORE buying. The book appears gently read and has no internal writing, no remainder marks, no missing pages and is NOT Ex-Libris or a BCE. The binding is holding firm and tight. All of the pages are present and fully attached. Some general/shelf wear along with a very noticeable lean/slant, creases/scuffing/marks/wear to the spine/corners/cloth boards, marks/foxing/wear to the edge/fore pages and creases/marks/scuffing/rips/wear to the pages. Please note the wear to the spine/corners/cloth boards, particularly noticeable near/along the edges and on the spine, the numerous marks on the edge/fore page and the wear that is present the pages, particularly noticeable on certain pages. The wear on certain pages is substantial. The most unfortunate wear is on the first, blank page. There is extensive scuffing, large marks and numerous rips, all of which has resulted in some considerable loss of paper on this page. This page has been closely photographed from various angles for your consideration. All of the wear previously mentioned is extensive and very clearly visible! The wear should be carefully examined/considered. While all of the pages are present and attached, one can clearly see some space/separation along the top edge of the spine. This area/wear has also been closely photographed for your consideration. The original, First State dust jacket is fully intact and NOT price-clipped! Some general/shelf wear along with creases, scuffing, scratches, rips and marks. Please note the wear on the spine, at the corners and near/along the edges. The wear, particularly near/along the edges, is extensive and very clearly visible! All of the wear should be carefully examined/considered. We tend to grade the condition of our books rather harshly and took into consideration any and all wear when determining the value of this rare book. Our VERY LOW asking price is a reflection of that consideration and if this copy was in better condition our asking price would be considerably higher. We purposely and closely photographed what we consider to be the most obvious and egregious wear. Once again, we want to reiterate that the wear to both the book and the dust jacket is extensive and VERY clearly visible! The wear is substantial and should be carefully examined/considered BEFORE buying. Numerous photographs from various angles were taken for your consideration/inspection. Please closely and carefully view ALL the pictures for further clarification!!! Payment must be received within three days or the book will be re-listed. Please feel free to contact us with any and all questions. We are very proud of our 100% positive feedback/ranking and offer an easy, no questions asked return policy so you can buy with confidence! Thank You!!
