The magnet measures approx. 4" in diameter, 1/2" high, and has a ~ 7/16" hole in the center. This unique HEAVY DUTY magnet features an epoxy potted magnet assembly for extreme heavy duty use. The epoxy potting ensures the element will remain bonded to the cup assembly. These are the STRONGEST 4" non-neo magnets we sell!!!DO NOT ALLOW THE MAGNETS TO CONTACT EACH OTHER! THEY WILL BE NEAR IMPOSSIBLE TO PULL APART!!!The cup assembly is raw and ready to primed/painted or epoxy/poly coated - with the finishing of your choice. The raw cup makes prep work easy instead of having to etch or strip a coated surface prior to finishing. Unfinished magnets WILL have rust/surface rust on the cup assembly or develop light rusting during shipping (if humid) because these are raw. They may also have residual cardboard adhered to the surface due to rust - again because these are UNCOATED & RAW STEEL. A light sanding or wire-brushing will remove the rust & cardboard - and have the magnets ready for priming and finishing. We do not oil the magnets so they can be prepped by the end user.
